The History
Prof. Dr. Otto Warburg who was awarded the Nobel Prize twice carried out decisive research on oxygen. In 1934 he met physicist Prof. Dr. Manfred Von Ardenne. The two co-operated for years in their research on oxygen intake and its consequences for healthy and sick organisms. Since the beginning of the 70s, Prof. Dr. Manfred von Ardenne´s oxygen therapy has predominantly been used. It is effective with a lot of illnesses, the origins of which are a lack of oxygen. This therapy helps us to treat illnesses as we follow the principle of causality. Since then we do no longer speculate on the prevention of illnesses and we needn't rely on improved knowledge any more; the effect of life giving oxygen has been proved.
Lack of mobility, infections and toxins make the oxygen status worse, says Prof. von Ardenne; this worsening may produce and illnesses. This development connected with a noticeable reduction of physical and mental powers, especially in old age. Lack of oxygen causes a critical decrease of the cardiac output; less oxygen in transported in the organism. The oxygen supply of 80 year old persons can go down as far as 66 p.c. of the maximum amount.
This decrease is accompanied by a latent or manifest worsening of the physical condition, because the immune defense gets worse and an unstable circulatory system increases the dangers of serious circulatory disturbances. Which illnesses are the first to be caused by lack of oxygen depends on the genetic trouble spots of the organism. The Oxygen – Multiphase – Therapy can control and delay this critical development, says Prof. Von Ardenne; furthermore it strongly shortens the phase of rehabilitation after sicknesses and operations.
